Launching a new product for my readers!
Learn more about a new product I'm opening up to my readers: Group Coaching and Mentoring sessions. Read the details about the product, the special offer for my readers and how to get access to it.
After discussing it for a few issues, the time has finally come to share access to my new product with all your readers. I've been testing the concept with a handful of people, and with today's article, I'm making it possible for a limited number of readers to join the first cohort.
Keep reading, as I'll guide you through the following points:
The Product: What it is, who is it for, and why I think it will address some unmet needs
The Special Offer for you: The details of the limited offer for my readers
How to get it: Details on how to sign up and benefit from an offer that won't be repeated in the future
Let's get started by looking at the product itself.
The Product
If you have been following my quarterly business updates1 you are probably familiar with my current business offering, which is designed around two main lines:
B2B: Fractional CTO, consulting, and advisory for companies
B2C: Mentoring and Coaching for individuals
I've stated multiple times that my intention is to focus more and more on the B2C branch, which I find more fulfilling on a personal level and offers a better level of resilience on the business side.
As I've been putting my energy into it since the beginning of the year, I've made significant progress while realizing one key limitation with the service I'm offering.
Individual 1-to-1 sessions tend to be expensive on a relative scale. Not everybody is willing to start the journey with someone they barely know at €300 an hour, even after an initial free session and no long-term commitment required.
Despite everyone finding value in the free sessions, some people were still reluctant to put in the price even though they could afford it, while others could not afford it to begin with.
Taking a page from Russel Brunson and his books on marketing and sales2, I started thinking in terms of what he calls the Value Ladder, a very simple yet powerful concept that he represents as follows:
The idea is simple: you usually want to give something that delivers some value to your customers for a very low price or even free. That's your “entry” product or service. As people find value in your services, they'll be more likely to invest more in you, and therefore, you will be able to upsell them to pricier products that deliver even more value.
They will be metaphorically stepping up the ladder.
My problem: my value ladder only has 2 steps, and it looks as follows:
Combining the feedback I had received from all the people I've offered free sessions to and the Value Ladder approach, I realized I needed to offer something more affordable to people that would sit between my free content and the premium product of 1-to-1 sessions.
This is how the idea of offering Group Coaching and Mentoring sessions was born.
After thinking about it for a while and iterating on the idea, this is what the product looks like:
2 1-hour group sessions each month, once every two weeks
All sessions are recorded, and videos + transcripts are available to all members
Members submit questions in advance, which we then discuss during the live sessions
Members not only interact with me but also engage in debates between them, getting input from other people in similar situations.
In addition to the core product, when you sign up, you get the following benefits:
10% discount for 1to1 coaching sessions, with no limits. I expect people at some point will want to get my undivided attention, and this is an additional incentive to make it happen.
20% discount on my entire catalog of online courses, something I'm working on in parallel
You get access to all this through a monthly subscription priced at €97 / month, plus taxes where applicable, once the product goes live for public access.
With this new product and the upcoming online course, the offering starts looking more like a ladder
The idea is to keep the product evolving by offering additional resources to members, such as extra calls with or without guests, Notion templates, articles, etc.
The more people sign up for the product, the more effort I'll be able to put into making it better.
And, as I said at the beginning, I'm making a special offer to my readers.
The Special Offer
My intention is to build up an initial group of 10 members with whom I want to iterate on the product to perfect it before it's ready for public launch. The devil is in the details, and I want to work very closely with this initial cohort to ensure we make the product as good as possible.
This is why I've created a special plan called the Founders Membership, as I think about this group of people as the co-creators.
As a reward for their trust, support, and contributions, I have created a special offer for them.
Instead of the regular price of €97 / month + taxes, they get a special price of €57 / month + taxes.
The best part of it is that this price will be locked forever. This is not just a 12-month discount.
I am committed to never increasing the price of the Founders Membership, even as the price for the standard plan will inevitably grow over time.
The only condition to keep benefitting from the special price is to keep your subscription current. If you decide to stop it for a month or more, you'll be moved to the standard plan if and when you decide to return.
I still have a few seats left for this initial group, so I'm now extending the invitation to snatch a limited Founders Membership to all my newsletter readers.
Seats are limited, and I'll disable the sign-up link as soon as we get to 10 members, including those already active.
To make the deal even sweeter, I'm offering a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked3.
How to get it?
If you're interested in benefitting from this unique offer, you can head over to this stripe link and make the initial payment to activate your subscription.
Once the payment is received, I'll manually create your account to give you access to the members’ areas, where you will find links to all upcoming sessions and a link to the form you can use to submit the topics or questions you want to be covered.
The next call is scheduled for tomorrow, August 22nd, at 12:00 CET; I look forward to seeing some new faces there!
If you have any questions or doubts, please reply to this email, and I'll reply shortly.
Please do not forward this offer to other people, as it's currently only available to my readers. I'll be double-checking that the people who sign up are actual subscribers.
Open Mic Session
As part of opening up access to this new product to my readers, I've also organized an online Open Mic event where anybody can join to get a taste of what it looks like to participate in the group sessions.
It will also allow you to ask any questions you might still have.
The online event will occur on Wednesday, August 28th, at 17.00 CET.
Click on the button below to book your seat.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of new and known faces there!
